Randy (The Riffer) White
was born in London, Ontario, and now lives in Northumberland County, Ontario. He started playing guitar at 12 years old at the Ontario Conservatory of Music, but dropped out because they would only teach folk guitar and sheet music and he just wanted to learn rock songs! He subsequently taught himself by playing along with records of his favorite bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Hendrix, etc. He enjoys all musical styles and has one relaxational instrumental CD, "Waitng for Spring", as well as the most recent pop rock album, Randy Plus 2 "Dreamland". Many more songs are written, to be recorded soon. Among these are a full orchestral anthem, many rock and rhythm and blues numbers and some cover tunes.
Featured on the "Dreamland" album, are Gillian and Meagan Harknett from the Peterborough area. These talented twins have been singing together most of their lives, and bring their great harmonies, as well as their own vocal arrangements to the songs they performed on.
Randy's dream in life is to spread good music throughout the world, play live as much as possible, record more albums, produce music for other artists, make some movies, spend time enjoying cottage country, have a couple of antique cars, and own a stock car track!
